HELLO! HELLO! HELLO! It's so nice to meet you...

I am so happy that you have stopped by. I Luv Da Red Hatz was born on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 @ 6:28 p.m. I started my contractions on Monday, Mach 17th around 9:20 p.m., so you can see that I was not in labor very long. (smile) I came up with the name because I just LUV the color of red. Youngsters of today associates the color red with gangs (The Bloods), but the Mature Adults understands that red is a color for LUV. Webster's dictionary define "RED" as a hue. Whenever I see the color red I get so happy. It makes me feel special and beautiful. After seeing a Red Hat Society article and had a glimpse of all of the red hats, red dresses, red pocketbooks, red jewelry, red scarves, red shoes, (whew I better slow down, I should be RED outed, but I not - the more I saw the happier I got). The Red Hatters were old enough to know better and young enough to do whatever they wanted and enjoyed it at the same time. The visible evidence of women linking together to enhance the enjoyment of life is a GOOD THING. Life is too short to not enjoy and when you get a certain age you deserve every second, every minute, every hour and every day to enjoy yourself. I can remember as a child (I have a twin) wearing red in most of my outfits. My twin sister always had the same outfit in blue. As I got older the color stuck with me. In recent years I have been trying to add other colors to my wardrobe, but let me tell you it hasn't been easy. I have decided to have some fun in my life and share the good, the bad and the ugly in life with family, friends and even strangers. I will most definitely laugh for you, cry for you and even give you the opportunity to do the same right back. This new child that I birthed (I Luv Da Red Hatz) is going to bring me much joy. I enjoy meeting people and sharing life stories. You never know when something that you have gone through may help someone else. So please sit back at your computer, relax, kick your shoes off and see what the day will bring. I know I will. PEACE & BLESSINGS
